Quality Assurance Management

Aria Consulting & Management Inc. is performing Quality Assurance Management to build industrial, underground, above ground electrical infrastructures, and utilities for several companies across the city from Toronto Hydro, Bell, Rogers, including following works but not limited to:

Lead multi-disciplinary teams of coordinators, Engineers, Inspectors, and other staff as required;

Lead the teams through the successful completion of medium to large complex projects while managing multiple projects at a time;

Prepare project work plans and schedules, and obtain management/client approval;

Maintain regular communication with stakeholders including clients/contractors, suppliers, 3rd parties and auditor firms regarding project status and project quality, and proactively resolve issues;

Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients and vendors, regulatory authorities and technical agencies, and the public.

Proactively track, analyze and report on actual performance against the plan, and prepare any report both for clients and as part of internal reporting processes. Address change management matters promptly and professionally with clients and internal departments;

Ensuring that construction contracts are fully coordinated and are high quality from a utility perspective;

Project design review to ensure all of the design drawings are comply with Canadian standards and local regulation,

Coordinating the implementation of project along with other UG utilities
-
Participating in inter disciplinary discussions to develop and coordinate design standards, master specifications, standards and directive drawings;

Coordinate with Engineers and Consultant firms in order to obtain all of permits and make sure they are all valid during project construction

Review the relevant documents prior to start of construction, monitoring and verify construction including Quality Assurance, physical progress, evaluate filed change requests & make recommendations

Coordination with Owner and its Constructor & Subcontractors and provide feedbacks related to the findings

Prepared deficiency lists, non-conforming notices and monitor resolution and disposition of quality-related issues, punch-list and outstanding work to completion of the work and carry out final construction review

Oversee preparing drawings and obtaining permits from MOL, MOE, and City of Toronto

Track and manage project milestones to ensure all of activities performed in a timely manner

Chairing project meetings including engineering/consultant meetings, permitting, pre-con meeting, site meetings, bi-weekly meetings and project close out
-
Verify work quantities and project changes and certifying payment to contractor

Preparing project close out, lesson learned, issue substantial completion certificate & payment certificate
